The client requested KNS Metals to manufacture hoppers and skids which were to be used in harsh environments in mining sites. The hoppers went through the process of laser cutting the steel plates, folding of channels and welding of beams and base plates. The pipes were also welded with precision and the NDA tested to ensure the welds met the standard provided. Upon completion of the fabrication, the various components went through the process of Hot-Dip Galvanising for protection in the harsh environments.
